Gas Fired Direct Heaters
Gas fired direct heaters are designed to provide large volumes of instant controllable heat where you need it, when you need it. This robust, cost effective and highly efficient range of portable heaters is suitable for a wide variety of well ventilated areas including construction sites, factories and warehouses.
Gas Fired Cabinet Heaters
Gas fired cabinet heaters are available as either radiant or in the popular no-flame catalytic model. These Butane fired portable heaters provide safe, controllable heat. All units are supplied with a 13kg Butane cylinder and regulator and are available with a safety guard. Portable cabinet heaters do not need a mains power supply and their compact size and ease of mobility make them an ideal temporary heating solution for many applications including small offices, shops and schools.
Indirect Oil Fired Heaters
Indirect oil fired heaters provide large volumes of 100% clean, warm, dry air, with all combustion gases expelled outside the building through a choice of either fixed or flexible exhaust flue. Robust and durable, these portable heaters can be sited either internally or externally. The ability to duct warm air to where it is required ensures effective space heating. Used in conjunction with building dryers they accelerate the drying of wet processes in a controlled manner. An indirect portable heater can suit a wide variety of applications including food preparation areas and construction sites as well as areas with limited ventilation such as marquees and exhibition halls.
Oil Fired Direct Heaters
Oil Fired Direct Heaters are highly efficient units that provide large volumes of instant heat where you need it, when you need it up to 300,000 Btu/hr. Run on low cost fuel oil, these portable heaters are suitable for a wide variety of well ventilated areas including construction sites, factories and garages.
Electric Fan Assisted Heaters
Featuring powerful air circulation, these high efficiency portable heaters provide fast, safe and effective heating in a variety of applications. Sturdy and robust, yet easily portable, they are available in dual voltage and three phase, providing from 3kW up to 27kW of heat output. They are the ideal solution for temporary or emergency heating to maintain comfortable working conditions. They can be used in a wide variety of applications such as offices, shops, industrial units, temporary buildings, schools and hospitals.
Electric Infrared Heaters
This range of portable heaters are ideal for providing safe, clean heat directed specifically to warm people or objects. Infrared technology is unaffected by air movement around the heater, making these heaters ideal for providing focussed heat in drafty or large areas, with a range of up to 6m. They are ideal for a wide variety of applications including workshops, offices, shops and schools.
Electric Ceramic Heaters
This range of portable infrared heaters offers an efficient and economical solution for instant spot heating. The safe and clean radiant heat produced by these units is ideal for indoor applications, such as schools, shops and offices, as it warms people and objects and not the air between. Simply plug into a 13 amp power supply for instant heat that does not blow away.
Electric Convector/Radiator
The range of slimline convector and oil filled radiators provide warmth in a wide variety of applications including offices, temporary accommodation and educational premises. These portable heaters are particularly useful in cold spells to support existing fixed heating systems.
Boiler
Rapid has a range of temporary hot water and heating boilers for rental on flexible long or short term hire periods. We have a large and modern range of boiler units ranging from 70-3000kW.
Running on oil or natural gas, these boilers are fast to set up and easy to install. Whether you need a temporary boiler for when your boiler needs maintenance or if you need emergency breakdown cover, Rapid will have a hot water and heating boiler to suit your needs.
Fuel tanks are available for hire with the boilers range from 959-6500 litres and have all passed rigourous testing to comply with pollution prevention guidelines PPG2 and PPG26, with automated fuel monitoring systems.
